Husband and wife duo Amelie and Charles Sparr both come from esteemed wine families and were brought together by their shared love for wine and the land it comes from. While the Sparr name has roots dating back to the 16th century in Alsace, it wasn’t until 2017 that the Domaine was established.
Their vineyards consist of a combination of leased and owned land, all managed according to biodynamic practices and holding ‘eco-cert’ certification. The Sparr’s aim is to produce small batch, bistronomic, sociable wines. They have a saying “Happy producers make happy wines”, and we must agree!
