Château Clerc Milon is one of Pauillac’s great comeback stories. Neighbouring First Growths Mouton Rothschild and Lafite, the estate was revived in 1970 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild and later fully modernised under Baroness Philippine, restoring its standing as a respected Classified Growth.
Today, the 41-hectare vineyard sits on deep gravel over clay-limestone soils overlooking the Gironde, planted predominantly to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with an impressive average vine age of over 50 years. Hand-harvested and gravity-fed in a state-of-the-art winery, the wine is aged for 16–18 months in French oak, around 40% new.
The result is a classic Pauillac: structured and age-worthy, with layered dark fruit, firm yet refined tannins and the hallmark elegance and power that define the appellation.
