This month we are saying hello to one of our drivers, Aaron. Aaron lives locally to our warehouse but travels across the region delivering wines with a bright smile and friendly welcome. We caught him just before another busy day on the road.
Q: How did you get into the wine trade?
I had been delivering for some time when I saw the job advertised. This was something a little bit different, as it gave me the chance to learn about something new, wine, as well as doing the occasional day in the warehouse to understand the different parts of the role.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your role?
Meeting our customers and making sure that they are satisfied with their deliveries. You get to build up a nice relationship with the regulars.
Q: Favourite wine on the list?
I don’t really drink wine, so I can’t say I have a favourite but I do enjoy trying the differences in the wines when we have tastings in the office.
Q: Do you have any hobbies or interests outside work?
I have 3 kids so I don’t have much time for anything else! We recently got a caravan so I’m looking forward to getting out and about more in that and having family holidays together.
