The vineyards lie at around 350 metres above sea level on the south-eastern slopes of Montalcino, overlooking the Val d'Orcia, where altitude, well-drained soils and wide day-night temperature swings help produce wines with freshness, structure and longevity. Harvesting is carried out by hand, while fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before the wines mature slowly in French and Slavonian oak casks.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eToday, the winery focuses almost exclusively on Sangiovese, producing Brunello di Montalcino, Brunello Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino and a small range of other Tuscan wines.
